SIMPLE METAL DETECTING
When you detect metal, hold the metal detector to the ground about 1-2 inches above the surface, sweeping the search coil in a side-to-side motion. Never sweep the search coil as if it was a pendulum. Raising the search coil while sweeping or at the end of a sweep will cause false readings.
The LCD display of the metal detector supports the backlight function. In dark areas, you can use LIGHT for better searching. Press the “POWER/RIGHT” button for about 2s to turn on the backlight, and long press again to turn the light off.
